This fragrance is perfect for close encounters. It’s not a fragrance that will reach out a grab attention in a crowd but when she’s close, it will invite her to get closer. If performance is a must for you, reach for the “Inzite” version, The One Eau De Parfum. It’s A little darker and richer but overall smells the same with the added longevity.

This is best used in the fall and winter, however, if you are light on the trigger you can use this year round.

Pure malt is definitely one of those fragrances I reach for when I want to stand out from the crowd. Not your run of the mill mall scent, it’s rugged yet refined. It takes the DNA of Muglers A*MEN and is said to have aged it in whiskey barrels. Giving the enticing gourmand a sensual boozy quality. It starts with Dried fruits mixed with oriental accords and that amazing whiskey note. Sweet, powerful and long-lasting it will have you grabbing attention as you paint the town.

It’s inexpensive but rivals much more expensive fragrances in performance and uniqueness. The introduction is watery and fruity. a green apple to be exact. the heart, mimosa and lotus flower. finishing with cedar, oakmoss, and musk. In my opinion one of the best fragrances money can buy is Dior Homme. Trendsetting, sexy, regal, classy, are the adjectives that come to mind when I think of this 2005 release. I know for some wearing fragrance, or cologne isn’t an everyday ritual. Set aside for more special occasion. It doesn’t get more special than this. This combination of a butter iris and cacao mix is definitely trendsetting in the men’s game. But, the Tahitian vetiver and leather “man” it up in the base. Reach for this when you’re with that special someone.

Gucci Pour Homme II – Casual

This fragrance has a quiet strength to it. It’s known to be a close to the skin scent and has good longevity. Perfect for date nights especially for the fall season. This is a great scent for those cozy close encounter moments. Not overbearing in any way. It also has an artisan like construction to it. Utilizing exotic notes of black tea, pimento perfectly counterbalanced with staples like violet leaf bergamot and musk. Giving this an almost therapeutic quality.

Oddly, It’s also a people pleaser as well, which isn’t the case usually when you push the envelope with a fragrance. The smell? Imagine a sweet crips pineapple. smoked. an airy medley of fruits on a bed of smooth slightly crazy woods. Exquisite. The catch? The price. This is truly a luxury item at upwards of $450 American dollars for a 4oz bottle.

Amouage Reflection Man – Statement

Amouage is a luxury brand based in Oman, founded by the Sultan of Oman. One of their most beautiful scents is Reflection Man. Its clean, almost soapy, powdery, slightly floral and creamy. The smell is often compared to the very popular fragrance Le Male, by Jean Paul Gaultier. I think Reflection man is very similar but much more refined, elegant and smooth.
